Rising Stars of New Braunfels
Rising Stars of New Braunfels is a program of the New Braunfels Jaycees and the Greater New Braunfels Chamber of Commerce to recognize the contributions of our community’s young leaders. Annually this program will recognize distinguished individuals under the age of 40 who are making a significant impact in their professional and/or civic endeavors. These Rising Stars are on a trajectory towards being New Braunfels’ next generation of outstanding leaders.

Who are the Jaycees?
The New Braunfels Jaycees (Junior Chamber) is New Braunfels’ young professionals organization. We are made up of aspiring leaders between the ages of 18-40 who are looking to grow their network, become engaged in the community, progress their professional development, and work towards creating a better New Braunfels through volunteering and philanthropic efforts. The Jaycees help prepare our members to become the business and community leaders of New Braunfels’ future.
What do the Jaycees do?
The New Braunfels Jaycees are a membership organization with more than 150 members who live and/or work in New Braunfels. The Jaycees provide our members with opportunities to connect with each other, become more involved in the community, and learn from business and civic leaders.
We hold monthly networking mixers, monthly leadership luncheons, quarterly volunteer days, manage booths at the Comal County Fair and Wurstfest, and host special events like the annual Rising Stars on New Braunfels Award and the New Braunfels 0.5K Beer Run benefiting a local non-profit. The Jaycees also maintain an endowment fund giving multiple scholarships to Texas State University students from Comal County, have a partnership with the Greater New Braunfels Chamber of Commerce, and, through our Philanthropy Committee, donate thousands of dollars each year to local non-profits
The Jaycees are a non-profit organization and receive no financial support from any government agencies. All funds are raised through annual events, food booth sales at the Comal County Fair and Wurstfest, membership dues, and sponsorships.
