Kristin Jeffers, Vice President

Kristin entered the world of gymnastics, cheer, and dance professionally in 2017. While her degree from Texas A&M University (WHOOP) was in Animal Science on the Vet School track, God had other plans as a position in her husband’s family business presented itself. Kristin grew up as a competitive gymnast, retiring as a level 9 gymnast, and danced on the New Braunfels high school dance team serving as Colonel her senior year. With a strong gymnastics and dance background, Kristin took over J&R Gymnastics’ dance program as the director in January 2017 while still working full time as a Veterinary Technician at County Line Vet Clinic. As the office manager left J&R in November 2017, she left County Line and came on full time to J&R Gymnastics taking over the office manager position in addition to the dance program. Working in a small-family business, and especially for your in-laws, is no walk in the park, but she has been blessed by marrying into the most wonderful family. As of January 2023, Kristin and her brother-in-law, Austin, have plans to take ownership of J&R Gymnastics.

When her father-in-law, James, suddenly passed away in November 2020, many things shifted for Kristin and her family. As James had been such a big influence in the New Braunfels community, she felt called to reignite her passion for community service and leadership which was so vibrant in her high school and college years. Joining the Jaycees was the first thing she thought to do in an attempt to try and fill a small part of the gaping hole James had left. Kristin quickly became actively involved with the Jaycees and has since helped with donations/prizes for the Beer Run the past two years, been a member of the Philanthropy Committee since July 2021, served as Vice Chair of the Philanthropy Committee July 2021-December 2021, and as Chair of the Philanthropy Committee from January 2022 to present. She has also volunteered at several Fair and Wurstfest shifts and other various volunteer days. To be accepted onto the Jaycees board is a great honor and dream come true.

In non-Jaycees related community involvement, Kristin has been a member of the Mid-Texas Symphony Guild, Leadership New Braunfels Class of 2022, and currently serves as the Youth Leadership New Braunfels Vice Chair.

Kristin is married to her husband of six years, Alex, and they have 2 kiddoes, Charley who is 3 years old, and Weston who is 8 months old. Most of her free time is spent enjoying all New Braunfels has to offer with her family and photographing the “littles” experience this wonderful place we live, work, play, and are blessed to call home.
